The book is organized regionally Providing a depth of clinically correlated information and pure surgical anatomy, this atlas contains over 1500 illustrations specifically prepared for this publication. The colour illustrations give a precise, dimensional view of internal anatomy. with coverage which is both topographical (surface) and surgical (internal), allowing students and practitioners to understand the relationship of structures to one another. The text demonstrates the left and right sides of the structures in detail and emphasizes the anatomical differences within the same animal, which provides significant clinical information about the body. There is also coverage of the cardiovascular system and the brain, including casts of the internal anatomy of the heart, lung and vasculature.
