“The Big Friendly Bear” is the story of two siblings; Joy and Lucy Holmes who get lost in a forest while picnicking with their parents on a farm outside their town. In the forest, they encounter a friendly bear, Edward and he takes the responsibility of dropping them safely to their home.
Together they set on a journey which is filled with new experiences and adventure. They encounter an old woman and help her; the good deed it is not left unrewarded. It teaches that caring for others is indeed an important virtue most of us have forgotten.
Further, they meet an innkeeper and a new adventure unfolds here. This story is about trusting and helping people and not giving up on any bad situation. Together they overcome all the obstacles and finally the children return to their home safely. As it is aptly said, where there is a will, there is a way.
